San Vito lo Capo, Sicily
There is an extremely interesting place located on the nord west coast of Sicily: San Vito Lo Capo. From Palermo follow the road to Mondello, pass “Isola delle Femmine”, which can be translated in english as Females’ Island (this place is actually on the main land). After Isola delle Femmine, still on the ss113 ( strada statale 113 ), you will find a crossroad, turn right to Palermo/Mazara on the A29. Keep driving for 50 km untill you will see the exit to Castellammare del Golfo. After the exit just follow the signs to San Vito Lo Capo. From Palermo it is about 100 Km. The little town of San Vito Lo Capo is very nice, with it’s typical small white houses, little boutiques, flea markets, nice bars and a beautiful white sand beach. The area suorrounding the town, a breathtaking combination of yellow mountains and blu sea…just perfect for campers, that’s why we ended up there!
during the trip someone was working…others were relaxing…more or less like a normal day in the office!

However the place looks like this
