Ryan Air
There will be no block of domestic flights within Italy by the Irish low cost airline Ryan Air. On Thursday evening ENAC, the Italian authority, and Ryan Air reached an agreement . The clash ahs been regarding thegich documents to be considered legal when boarding the aircraft. Ryan Air wanted only passports, but by law in Italy you can even use a fishing permit – if there is a photo, and it has been issued by an authority. The company has agreed to be considered useful not only for boarding passport and ID card but also “all documents issued by State agencies to civil servants’. Excluded, because they were considered invalid documents, are still the old Italian driving license, the professional certificate, licenses for hunting and fishing and firearms. Ryan has therefore confirmed “the immediate restoration of all flights.”
Ryan Air has threatened to closed all international flights, to and from Italy, if this issue wasn’t settled. At least for the moment, the risk is illiminated.
