Hotel Carlton & Grand Canal is located in a privileged position overlooking the famous Grand Canal. Close by is the city's main train station and car park, allowing for quick and easy access to the hotel. There is also a useful vaporetto stop near the train station that can take you quickly to St. Mark's Square and many of the city's other popular attractions. However, to discover true Venice, and if you have the stamina, we recommend that you travel on foot as much as possible.
Hotel Carlton & Grand Canal is a comfortable hotel in the Santa Croce district of Venice that has been run by the same Venetian family for the last 30 years. The staff are friendly and are happy to provide useful information about this wonderful city. The guest rooms at the hotel were fully redecorated and furnished in 2001 in a 18th century Venetian style, and with the added bonus of being equipped with all the mod conveniences needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
