Overall Comment:
Hotel Cortina is a very nice, quaint hotel with a very attentive staff. We booked a double standard and were a bit surprised to see how small it was. Two people could barely turn around without running into each other. We did let the manager know that we were expecting a slightly bigger room for a double and could we possibly get a bigger room. Fortunately, we were upgraded to a "triple" for our second and third nights, which was roomy and very nice, and for the same price!
What did you like:
The location is great because it is very close to the Termini and many restaurants and shopping. The staff was very accommodating and attentive. Breakfast was good.
What you didn't like:
Nothing really, just make sure you know what you are getting when you book.

we have stayed in several hotels on the same road in rome but we will always come back to the hotel cortina. tha staff are amazing and go out of there way to assist fro example we stayed for new year, we were told were to go for the evenings live open air concert and told the best places to visit, the hotel receptionist told us that they were extending breakfast until eleven on new tears day so their guesta could lie in, in fact we didnt surface until 2 in the afternoon and we were offered breakfast. wot more can i say you. it is the best value for money and i would recommend anyone to stay there. we go to rome at least twice a year and i will never stay anywhere else
What did you like:
the warm friendly staff . clean cosy rooms (im very fuussy by the way and a clean freak) which are cleaned daily, breakfast and the location superb value for money
What you didn't like:
nothing at all

Overall Comment:
The hotel was terrific for our family of four. With two rooms it gave our two girls a room of there own. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast were good and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
What did you like:
The location is central and makes for getting around Venice very easy.
What you didn't like:
We did have difficulty finding the hotel the first time. After that it was fine.
