The Domus Sessoriana offers truly unique accommodation in the historical centre of Rome. It is probably the only property that was originally an Imperial Roman residence which was transformed into a basilica and then subsequently elevated to the status of an abbey. The Domus Sessoriana lies within the walls of the ancient Cistercian monastery and is ideally placed to visit several of the city's famous attractions, including the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Basilica of San Giovanni of Laterano.
The Domus Sessoriana is able to provide guests with various types and sizes of bedrooms, ranging from singles to executive suites. All have been finely decorated and furnished with quality mahogany furniture, wrought iron beds, quicklime painted walls, and tiled floors, as well as being equipped with useful modern comforts. The complimentary breakfast is served in the old refectory and from the rooftop you have beautiful views of the basilica, the gardens and of course Rome itself.

| Overall Comment: A charming accommodation and a good value. We found our room to be spacious, the included breakfast generous, the staff helpful and pleasant and an easy commute to all of Rome via bus or metro. |
