What did you like: Calm place, large room, nice arrangement. The staff was very nice despite the lack of a common language.

What you didn't like: Double bed was in fact two single beds. Poor shower pressure.

Overall Comment: Close to everything including the train station, spacious room, excellent cappuccino with breakfast. However, spotty plumbing and excessive street noise were annoying.

What did you like: The hotel was close to the train station and a few blocks from museums. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is an internet point a few doors down with very reasonable rates, several restaurants and spots to get a quick bite very close by. We could walk to everything easily. The bed was large and comfortable.

What you didn't like: There was a lot of street noise every night, late into the night. Our room faced the street which seemed to be a main route for walking, talking groups of people all night. We also had a few problems with the plumbing including a toilet that wouldn't stop running (resolved the next day), one day of no hot water, and a shower that wouldn't drain (resolved towards the end of our stay). The breakfast was a hard roll with spreads which was kind of disappointing. However, the cappuccini were among the best we had in all of Italy.

Overall Comment: Nice Location and nice staff ! I'd like to stay in if I visit Florence again !
