Overall Comment: I have been going to this hotel since 1998 and have found it to be lacking this last time...

What did you like: Staff is friendly and helpful Location is great, near the Vatican and on a lovely street with nice shops Nice continental breakfast with the nicest waiter imaginable Price is fair.. discount for cash payment multilingual staff

What you didn't like: Ceiling fans need to be cleaned as do the crevices in doors and doors need painting My room had no chair for the desk, no tv, no hairdryer, and my wake up call came 30 minutes late No smoke detector in room...this may deter me from returning

Overall Comment: We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Joli and were quite comfortable. The location was close enough to the sites we wanted to visit but far enough away not to feel crowded. The staff was always courteous and attentive.

What did you like: What was good about the Hotel Joli was it's location to some polpular tourist sites, shopping and dining establishments. The personnel was always courteous. The Hotel was clean and quite accommodating.

What you didn't like: Would have liked to have had the convenience of getting water, soda etc at our convenience. We really wanted some cold bottled water and would have to go down the street to a store to get it. If the store was closed we had to just do with out. Was not able to use the hotel phone to place a call home to the US. The pin number on the phone for international calls was not valid. Had to go find a public phone.
