Hotel Planet is situated in the historical centre of Rome, a short distance from Repubblica square, the main train station "Termini" and bus terminal. This is an ideal base for any visitor to Rome, as most of the tourist attractions can be reached within a few minutes. On leaving the train station (via platform 1), you are on Via Marsala. Turn right and then take the first left - this is Via Milazzo. The 2 star Hotel Planet comprises of 25 rooms. All rooms are equipped with en suite bathroom (with shower), air conditioning, central heating, safety deposit box, direct dial telephone, satellite TV and hairdryer. The hotel is open 24 hours. Most major credit cards are accepted and an Italian breakfast (pastry and drink at the nearby bar) is included in our special web rates. Discounts available for cash payment.

Overall Comment: Clean, fresh hotel in a beautiful area. Staff friendly and always there. Beds very comfortable. Air conditioning very effective and reliable. Rooms spacious (could have done with more clothes hangers and shelves). Good, filling breakfast in a room with breathtaking views. Lovely patio area to sit and have delicious coffee. Would certainly go again.
What did you like: Most things. Pleased to be offered a substantial breakfast in a lovely dining-room. Twin room had 2 full-size double beds. Air-con pretty quiet and very effective (and it was late July and VERY hot.)
What you didn't like: Could have done with more coat-hangers (and skirt/trouser-hangers) in the wardrobe. Also there wasn`t quite enough space to put clothes/ shoes etc. Another cupboard would have been useful. And of course, we Brits like a kettle and tea & coffee in our rooms!
