Plaza Hotel Lucchesi (or the Lucchesi as their faithful guests call it) is surely one of Florence's most historical hotels. Exquisitely renovated in 2001, it offers a solicitous, personalised service in a relaxed and spacious ambience. The hotel lies on the right bank of the River Arno, between Santa Croce and Piazzale Michelangelo, just a stone's throw from the Uffizi Gallery and the Ponte Vecchio. The hotel offers many rooms overlooking the River Arno or Santa Croce Church (some have also a small private balcony).
