Hotel San Silvestro is well situated in the historical centre of Rome, close to many of the main tourist attractions; just 5 minutes away on foot are many treasures which date back several hundreds years, such as the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and Piazza Di Spagna. The hotel is also situated within the shopping district and is therefore surrounded by Rome's famous haute couture fashion houses and quaint boutiques. Hotel San Silvestro has 22 guest rooms in total, all which are air conditioned and equipped with several useful facilities. The hotel has been classically decorated and furnished to provide a warm atmosphere, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the reception is open 24 hours a day. Please note that during the New Year's period there is a minimum stay of 3 nights.

Overall Comment: Very basic but wins through for its excellent location at a good price during low season
What did you like: Location near central sites and bus services; good summer prices; helpful front desk, speaking good English; secure car park nearby.
What you didn't like: Very basic rooms.
