The Stendhal is a 4 star superior hotel situated in Via del Tritone, very close to Barberini square, Via Veneto and the impressive Spanish Steps. Recently opened (June 2005) Hotel Stendhal offers superior quality rooms, an excellent accommodation in the center of Rome, within walking distance from all city's main attractions: Trevi Fountain, Villa Borghese, many museums and galleries are in this beautiful area. With public transportation (the metro is just literally fifty meters away) you can reach any other area of Rome, the Vatican, Trastevere and the Testaccio district.
This beautiful 4 star hotel comprises of 30 rooms, all of which are en suite and well equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, direct dial telephone and high speed internet access. Other hotel facilities include a 24-hour reception, lounge, breakfast room, bar, left luggage room, hotel safe, disabled facilities, Wi-Fi internet connection and room service. A buffet breakfast is included in our special web rates and most major credit cards are accepted. The bar is open 24 hours a day and a small meeting room is also available. All children under the age of 3 years stay for free.

| Overall Comment: Very conviniently located (just off Piazza Barberini), exeptionally clean (new? newly refurbished?), with friendly stuff. Rooms are small (those overlooking via del Tritone are bigger, but the street is very noisy, so you choose), some have only alcove windows - you don't see the daylight. Room service is very limited. Overall - a nice place to stay. |
