In the outskirt of the small fishing village of Trabia surrounded by green gardens and hills, lies the Hotel Residence Torre Artale. A good choice if you wish to visit the coastline between Palermo and Cefalù. The hotel disposes of 53 rooms, divided between single, double, twin and superior rooms. The superior rooms have, as an extra, a more elegant furnishing with a canopy bed, a view over the gardens and the possibility to sleep 3 to 4 persons. All room typologies are equipped with direct telephone, sat TV, air conditioning/heating, hairdryer and minibar on request. The hotel has a romantic and particular restaurant that has been obtained when restructuring an old mill. Here you can enjoy an Italian dinner, buffet or “a la carte”, sometimes the hotel arranges evening with a theme, and sometimes with entertainment. More than a hotel building the Torre Artale looks like a typical, big Sicilian family house, with a pretty inner yard where you can relax in the shade. Apart from the shade, for those very hot summer days you’ll also find a very spacious swimming pool just outside the walls of the residence, with an area for children and one for adults. If you wish to practice sports during your holiday, the Torre Artale Residence also provides 4 tennis courts, a volley/basketball yard, a football field and a minigolf course.The location, a little bit outside the village, gives you all the quite and relax you might need. However the residence offers it’s guest a free transfer to the beach several times a day and to the train station San Nicola. With the train you can easily visit Palermo, or head in the other direction towards the pretty beaches around Cefalù. Renting a car could also be a good idea for visit this area.
