Overall Comment:
My family visited the hotel at the end of July and there was ample space in the room for the four of us - I especially liked having two single beds for my children as this stopped any fighting. The hotel is a great base for Rome we managed to walk to all the major sights and Trastevere is a great area at night for eating and shopping. The staff were very helpful in assisting with restaurants and tips. Will certainly recommend this hotel
What did you like:
Clean rooms and local area
What you didn't like:
Nothing

Overall Comment:
Great location that may be overlooked by people thinking they need to be closer to tourist sites. Interesting neighborhood with many restaurants nearby. Taxi service or walking is best transportation and taxi fares are not expensive to the tourist sites. We liked only having 5 guest rooms. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
What did you like:
Rooms were modern and very clean with a laptop in each room which met our travel needs. We really liked the location as an out of the tourist zone hotel. Staff are excellent.
What you didn't like:
Walls are a little thin and you may want to bring ear plugs. We travel with them and did not have any issues with the noise level.

Overall Comment:
Loved the hotel, loved our stay. Only drawback is that staff is not onsite all the time, for on the spot last minute questions or requests. That said, I'd go back in a minute!
What did you like:
Local vibe-it's a real Roman neighborhood, but not far from everything you'd want to see. (Rome is not that big.) Loved the breakfast setup at cafe around the corner. Rooms are stylish simple modern, good sized and light, great characteristic view out our window.
What you didn't like:
Double-edged sword--it's in a residential neighborhood. At 2:30 in the morning I was awakened by a nasty person screaming into his cell phone. When I asked him to be more quiet (from my window) he told me to shut up myself...not pleasant. He continued this screaming conversation for another half an hour. But, there are jerks everywhere....

Overall Comment:
We were first surprised by the anonymous location on a small street, however once entering the entrance on the first floor of the apartment building we recognized the hotel from the pictures. The staff were very accommodating, coffee and internet included in the bill is always a nice touch, in fact they have a laptop per room if you did not bring your own. Most of Rome is an easy walk away, lots of good restaurants around the corner. We really liked the way the hotel is designed, like an modern oasis of design in an otherwise ancient city. Definitely recommended!

An interesting experience, but one which I have immediately fell in love with. A well-positioned hotel with all the necessary amenities: free wi-fi, clean, fantastic breakfast at a cafe just metres away, and some of the most friendly staff I've seen. It felt more like a home than a hotel to me, and this was such a refreshing change. Fantastic - would stay there in a heartbeat!
What did you like:
Internet, cleanliness, location, staff.
What you didn't like:
Nothing I can think of.

Excellent choice for us - two adults with teenage children. Would definitely use again.
What did you like:
The friendliest staff we have ever come accross. Expert local knowledge and only too happy to help. All fluent English speakers. Located within easy walking distance of all tourist sites. Very clean. Trastevere area very good for restaurants / bars at night.
What you didn't like:
Not the easiest to find initially - but don't let that put you off.

This is the best hotel i've ever stayed in, simple! The Tripadvisor.com reviews seemed too good to be true, but my Girlfriend and I were delighted with everything. The area it's in is gorgeous and a genuine Roman community a short walk from the traditional sights. The Room was simple, secure, beautifully furnished and kept perfectly clean throughout the week, but the best thing about it was the staff who genuinely wanted us to enjoy the city and supplied endless invaluable local knowledge. Plus, it's one of the cheapest around!
What did you like:
Too much to list here. The best thing was the staff as they could not do enough to help and advise us. They were faultlesly polite and genuinely friendly, and all had a huge amount of knowledge. They were the reason we had such a brilliant holiday as they all live nearby and know all the places you would want someone to tell you about. The small kitchen has everything you could possibly want, and free tea and coffee as well as small snacks to help yourself to. The breakfast vouchers are for a lovely cafe nearby which again is frequented by locals and gives you a better experience than sitting in a souless carbon copy hotel restaurant. Do not miss this place.
What you didn't like:
In Room 5 the toilet flush from the next room is quite loud. The staff are outstanding but only there from around 8/9am until around 6pm. If you are checking in outside of these hours you will need to let them know by email and they will arrange for someone to stay on to meet you. This is much easier than it sounds as I did it was they could not do enough to help plan and arrange it and it went very smoothly. The hotel is otherwise outstanding

The Staff at WRH TRASTEVERE was courteous, hospitable, knowledgeable, and willing to help with questions, requests, and offers to book your tours. Our stay was excellent. We arrived very tired from our long trip and the staff was very accommodating eventhough we overlooked notifying them before hand that we would be arriving before check-in time. Thank you very much. It was much greatly appreciated.
What did you like:
Very clean rooms; excellent house keeping. Excellent room temperature. Clean lobby. Provide brochures and information about places to visit and sight seeing tours. Thank you for your hospitality and the fruit. It is central to many tourist attractions, restaurants, shopping stores, and bus routes.

A very nice and comfortable place just 10 minutes from Piazza Navona and Fontana Di Trevi. You won't find anything as quiet or relaxing and they even have a laptop for you in every room. Delicious breakfast at a nearby caffee is complementary. Ask the hosts for directions about the city, they really know the place. It's great.

Our first visit to Rome and our stay was wonderful!
What did you like:
The neighborhood and location are wonderful...close enough to the sights but far enough from the tourist crowds. The restaurant recommendations were spot on and the room and guest house were immaculate! Breakfast at the nearby cafe was a great authentic Italian experience...cappuccino and brioche with the locals! The staff were always helpful and ready with recommendations for the area...be it a walking tour, a place to eat or shop.
What you didn't like:
No complaints at all!

Having a job where I often travel, I spent days trying to find a hotel in Rome that was centrally located, clean and affordable without the luxury of an expense account. I found all three when I booked this hotel. The Trastevere area is comparable to NY's east and west village. Quaint cobblestone streets filled with restaurants/bars with an enduring vibrant energy. We walked everywhere, and this hotel location allowed us the opportunity to do so. Our room was warm, cozy, clean and surprisingly quiet in the night. The hotel has a B&B quality which makes the experience more personable and gave us the feeling of living like locals. Maria and Karl were very attentive and extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions, good streets to stroll upon, and tourist traps to avoid. If ever I make it to Rome again, I will stay at this hotel and will highly recommend it to family and friends.
What did you like:
The staff, location, room, location again...everything. Perfect hotel. Great price too.

Fabulous location, very clean and bright rooms, wonderful staff.........great place to stay!
What did you like:
location in Rome, cleanliness of rooms, comfortable bed
What you didn't like:
Nothing was bad. The only thing I would change is the slight smell of the entrance hall from the outer door of the building, but since this passageway is shared by other places in this building, there may be little to be done about it.

No complaints at all and would not hesitate to recommend the place to others. Clean, modern, comfortable and lovely little touches like free coffee and cakes and free wifi and use of laptop. Overall Comment:
This hotel is perfect for the location. Trastevere is an area to be explored and it is also well located to walk into the central historic Rome. (10 mins) The hotel has 5 bedrooms and they are very modern in style. The furnishings are good, probably IKEA mostly, but everything you need is there. The hotel is good value and this is really beacuse you are not paying for the extra facilities that you don't need. Rome is for exploring and not sitting in the hotel. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
What did you like:
Location is perfect for exploring the endless bars and restuarants in Trastevere. Prices in this part of town reflect it being off the tourist track. If you want to eat and have a more authentic Roman experience this is where you want to be. area is safe but more earthy that some parts of Rome. Hotel can be reached by taxi from airports for approx €40. This is probably cheaper than train plus taxi from termini for parties of 2 or more and much less hassle.
What you didn't like:
Hotel operates more like a B&B with no real dining facilities, coffee making and seated area to enjoy drinks is available but 2 minutes walk away there begins and endless array of bars, resturants anyway. Have no negative comments. Breakfast is a coffee, fresh orange and selection of pastries in local coffe shop as hotel does not have cooking facilities. The staff in the coffee shop greet you like a long lost relative on second day, food basic but honest.

Overall Comment:
After enduring less than reasonable rates in Milan and Venice for what was promised ' better - end' though -not -luxury-rooms, we were almost dreading what we will find in WRH Trastvere for the attractive fee we were quoted. Right now, all we can say is 'WOW' ! Clean, quiet ( unless you leave the windows open ) and definitely hospitable. Being a tourist, our agenda meant outdoors most of the time and returned only to shower and sleep. Luxurious accomodation is definitely not necessary.
What did you like:
The clean symetry of the beds and other fixtures. There was clear indication that careful thought was given to ensure that the guests' needs were met. Utilisation of space was efficient. We cannot begin to describe the difference having a laptop with proper internet access in our room made to us. As for service, both Alessandro and Maria saw to evrything we needed and more. Kudos to the both of them.
What you didn't like:
Bad is a strong word, we feel, should not be used to describe this place at all ! A minor concern would be the location. Many do not know where San Cristogono is...
