WRH Trastevere is located in Rome's Trastevere area in a quite side street at only 50 meters from a bus station ( Bus Number H ) wich goes to Termini Station in 15 minutes. Trastevere is one of the most lively district of Rome, full of "trattorie", bar, pubs. WRH Trastevere is a new property and, without doubt, one of our best bed and breakfast in Rome. All rooms are equipped with the most modern furnishings and all comforts of a superior 3 star hotel. Overall Comment: Our (5-day) stay at WRH Trastevere was very pleasant. Although there wasn't much closet space, the room was very nice, modern and quite big. The bathroom was also modern and spacious with a very nice rainforrest-shower. But the best thing about this hotel was it's great location. Trastevere is very quiet and calm in the daytime. But in the evening it is a very lively and great place to be for people of all ages. The last two weeks of July are especially a great time to be in Trastevere. Every night there are all sorts of festivities and the streets are swamped with people/residents of all ages. Don't forget to go to Piazza Santa Maria in the heart of Trastevere. This square is a great place to drink some wine/beer while you sit on the steps of the fountain (that stands in the middle of the square) and watch all kinds of musicians and streetartists perform.
What did you like: - Location - Room - Bathroom - Breakfast - Service - Internet - Safety
What you didn't like: - Not much closet space - Noisy airconditioning (but does work very good)

What did you like: The room was marvellous but without a doubt the best thing is the staff.We felt there as being at home.Thanks specially to Franco.

Overall Comment: Very stylish rooms - with laptop for free internet use - centrally located. Immaculate throughout! Great coffee on tap. Only very hard to find as hotel road is not easily located on maps of Rome and guest lodge not advertised outside building either. We thought we were at the wrong place as the road does not really reveal the wonderfully stylish rooms that lie inside!
What did you like: Very clean, very stylish, good coffee and free laptop and internet use.
What you didn't like: Hard to find, entrance from street not easy to locate and a bit scruffy outside.

Overall Comment: very central but not noisy...so you can walk anywhere in the city,very clean and modern and stylish place for an acceptable price(for rome city) comparing to most of the other hotels you will find in rome.thank you very much.we`ll come back and can recomend this place to friends

Overall Comment: A very friendly place where you are made to feel very much at home. I will definately recommend this hotel to others wanting to experience how the Romans live in Rome
What did you like: Location, Trastevere in an excellent part of Rome in which to stay. Good communal tea and coffee making facilities
What you didn't like: No separate loo for people to use once they have checked out of their room

Overall Comment: After enduring less than reasonable rates in Milan and Venice for what was promised ' better - end' though -not -luxury-rooms, we were almost dreading what we will find in WRH Trastvere for the attractive fee we were quoted. Right now, all we can say is 'WOW' ! Clean, quiet ( unless you leave the windows open ) and definitely hospitable. Being a tourist, our agenda meant outdoors most of the time and returned only to shower and sleep. Luxurious accomodation is definitely not necessary.
What did you like: The clean symetry of the beds and other fixtures. There was clear indication that careful thought was given to ensure that the guests' needs were met. Utilisation of space was efficient. We cannot begin to describe the difference having a laptop with proper internet access in our room made to us. As for service, both Alessandro and Maria saw to evrything we needed and more. Kudos to the both of them.
What you didn't like: Bad is a strong word, we feel, should not be used to describe this place at all ! A minor concern would be the location. Many do not know where San Cristogono is...

Overall Comment: This hotel is perfect for the location. Trastevere is an area to be explored and it is also well located to walk into the central historic Rome. (10 mins) The hotel has 5 bedrooms and they are very modern in style. The furnishings are good, probably IKEA mostly, but everything you need is there. The hotel is good value and this is really beacuse you are not paying for the extra facilities that you don't need. Rome is for exploring and not sitting in the hotel. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
What did you like: Location is perfect for exploring the endless bars and restuarants in Trastevere. Prices in this part of town reflect it being off the tourist track. If you want to eat and have a more authentic Roman experience this is where you want to be. area is safe but more earthy that some parts of Rome. Hotel can be reached by taxi from airports for approx €40. This is probably cheaper than train plus taxi from termini for parties of 2 or more and much less hassle.
What you didn't like: Hotel operates more like a B&B with no real dining facilities, coffee making and seated area to enjoy drinks is available but 2 minutes walk away there begins and endless array of bars, resturants anyway. Have no negative comments. Breakfast is a coffee, fresh orange and selection of pastries in local coffe shop as hotel does not have cooking facilities. The staff in the coffee shop greet you like a long lost relative on second day, food basic but honest.

Overall Comment: No complaints at all and would not hesitate to recommend the place to others. Clean, modern, comfortable and lovely little touches like free coffee and cakes and free wifi and use of laptop. Location excellent - not too touristy and within easy walking distance of all sites. Lots of nice restaurants on the doorstep.
What did you like: Location, price, little extras!

Overall Comment: Fabulous location, very clean and bright rooms, wonderful staff.........great place to stay!
What did you like: location in Rome, cleanliness of rooms, comfortable bed
What you didn't like: Nothing was bad. The only thing I would change is the slight smell of the entrance hall from the outer door of the building, but since this passageway is shared by other places in this building, there may be little to be done about it.

Overall Comment: Having a job where I often travel, I spent days trying to find a hotel in Rome that was centrally located, clean and affordable without the luxury of an expense account. I found all three when I booked this hotel. The Trastevere area is comparable to NY's east and west village. Quaint cobblestone streets filled with restaurants/bars with an enduring vibrant energy. We walked everywhere, and this hotel location allowed us the opportunity to do so. Our room was warm, cozy, clean and surprisingly quiet in the night. The hotel has a B&B quality which makes the experience more personable and gave us the feeling of living like locals. Maria and Karl were very attentive and extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions, good streets to stroll upon, and tourist traps to avoid. If ever I make it to Rome again, I will stay at this hotel and will highly recommend it to family and friends.
What did you like: The staff, location, room, location again...everything. Perfect hotel. Great price too.
What you didn't like: Nothing.

Overall Comment: One of the best hotel experiences we've had in years of travel.
What did you like: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us really helpful recommendations and we're genuinely keen for us to have a great time in Rome. The room design was fun and fixtures were all new and modern. Facilities like wifi, and an espresso maker were the icing on the cake.

Overall Comment: This hotel would have been a good deal at twice the price. The professional and friendly staff went above and beyond the call of duty and were a wealth of information regarding restaurants, attractions and transportation options. If we return to Rome we will stay here!
