Cà Amadi is a wonderful palace dating back to the 14th century, conveniently located in the heart of Venice, close the Rialto bridge and the Fondaco dei Tedeschi. It was the home of Marco Polo during the Venetian Republic, as well as giving shelter to the German Emperor Federick III during his visit in 1452. The building was recently renovated (2002) into a small, luxurious bed and breakfast hotel, exquisitely decorated and furnished to a very high standard.
Cà Amadi is ideally located for a visit to the romantic city of Venice - centrally located with easy access to most of the major points of interest. The architecture of the main hall is from the Gothic period and the guest rooms are in a typical 17th century Venetian style. This characteristic and romantic setting, combined with the staff’s attentiveness and professionalism, make this hotel and excellent choice for any traveller who wishes to get the best out of Venice.
