VATICANS HOUSE B&B rome The bed and breakfast Vatican's House is situated just outside the Vatican City and can offer you single, double, triple and quadruple rooms. This bed and breakfast is located on the second floor, with elevator, in a quite residential building. The accommodation is well connected with the city centre and the near by metro station takes you to Termini Station (main transportation Hub) in 10-15 minutes. Being in the outskirts of the centre helps keeping the rates low, but the accommodation standard is high. The bed and breakfast has been recently renovated and comprises of 5 rooms all spacious and fully equipped with air conditioning, TV, minibar and hair dryer. You can either choose to have a private or a shared bathroom, and the quadruple room is spacious enough for a whole family. In the morning between 7am and 11am a rich breakfast of juice, tea, coffee, yoghurt, croissants and bread is served. This area, apart from the main sights, the Vatican and San Peter, has one of Rome’s main shopping streets: via Cola di Rienzo. Two underground stops away from the bed and breakfast you will have Piazzale Flamino, Villa Borghese, with the famous Borghese Gallery, and Via del Corso; 3 stops away Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain.

Overall Comment: The property is ideally located in a quiet area, 15 minute walk distance from the Vatican, 10 mins from the underground station (CIPRO). Rooms are nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. Our room (for 4 people), in particular, was extremely spacious, well above Italian hotel standards. The shared bathroom is brandnew and was always very clean. Breakfast was absolutely excellent and plentiful. The owner does not speak any English but is very nice, helpful and friendly. On our departure day, we said we would not have breakfast because we had an early flight. She prepared it for us very early in the morning anyway! Internet service is provided. Very good value for money. Highly recommended!
