Taormina Hotels Availability

On the Sicilian east coast, half way between Messina and Catania, the legendary tourist location and jet set attraction "Taormina" rests beautifully on a terrace 200m above the sea. The blue Ionian sea, the Vulcano Etna in the background and the peculiar position on the rock that stands out above the sea, makes it more similar to a romantic film than to reality. Taormina is truly something out of the ordinary. However we are not the first ones to know this, this charming village has been a very popular tourist destination since the 19th century, hosting; poets, actors and nobles, inspiring writers and offering it’s splendour as a background for films.
